Wishlist #3

Good morning everyone! I have a wishlist post today and would love to hear your experience with any of the products I've picked out, good or bad!

Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser

This seems to be forever out of stock but Jasmine and Sal have both spoken highly of it and I love my Pixi Glow Tonic so I want to try this! It contains 5% glycolic acid so there is a chemical exfoliating element to this which I love and I love mud masks so this is right up my street if it ever comes back in stock!

Becca Blushed Radience Kit

I've had my eye on this for a while then it went out of stock but its back now! It has the infamous Backlight Priming Filter as well as a mini Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed in Opal, Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight Wand in Opal and mineral blush in the shade Flowerchild and seems like a perfect way to try the brand that gets so much hype even though I am a highlighter wuss! I really hope Cult Beauty has another GWP soon so I can fill my basket and pretend I am getting a fantastic deal haha!

Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Palette in Light/Medium

In case you hadn’t guessed, I am a complete sucker for try me sets/do everything palettes!

I am not actually the biggest fan of Stila (I've given away a lot of their Lip Glazes and never reach for my In the Light palette) but something about this is calling to me and I think the shades they have included are beautiful!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Summer Multi Glow Palette

Ah another face palette! I've never tried anything from the Bronze Goddess Summer collections though it seems everyone loves them but this palette might be the prettiest thing I have ever seen! After doing a little research it seems the shades are not the most pigmented which isn’t a problem for me (it’s easier to build up than take away after all!) but it’s not in the gelee formula I thought it might be so this may be staying on the wishlist!

Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint Foundation SPF 30

Another product with a lot of hype! I am always pleasantly surprised when I see before and afters of people wearing this as I wasn’t expecting it to offer much coverage! The word matte in the title is also very important to me as a super oily skinned girl (with a touch of dehydration for good measure) I want foundations to last all day without major shine peaking through!

Beauty Blender Liner.Designer

Eyeliner flick are the bane of my life. I can’t do them and other people can’t do them on me because of my ridiculously hooded eyes and miniature lid space. Could this be the gimmicky product to save the day and let me have the baby flicks I’ve always wanted? I love Beauty Blender and though I do occasionally use the microporous/surgical tape trick, I find that it irritates my eyes or I take the tackiness off so much it doesn't stick for as long as I need it to!

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know what you thought of them or tell me what’s on your wishlist! Apologies for the ugly red line around the collage too not sure what happened! Can anyone give me a good (free) programme for making collages, I currently use Polyvore but the picture is never as clear as I want it to be!

Hi everyone, I have the last in my “series” of colour posts today featuring a mixture or ombre if you will of shades! I might come back to these in the future at some point as I’ve loved doing them!

Nivea Powerfruit Fresh Shower Gel with Revitalizing Acai Berry

I actually won this in a giveaway on Instagram a few months ago and I can’t get over how good it smells! I love Nivea Shower Gels but hadn’t tried this scent before and I’m obsessed! It’s so refreshing and it smells seriously amazing!

Garnier Express 2 in 1 Eye Makeup Remover

This is probably a product you are sick of hearing me harp on about if you are a regular visitor here! It is a constant repurchase for me as it’s so effective at removing waterproof eye makeup while being super gentle! The bi phase solution works effortlessly to get my mascara and eyeshadow off in no time and I couldn’t be without this!

Bedhead Small Talk

I've had this for ages but don’t think I’ve ever spoken about it before! Not sure why as its one of my favourite hair products! I love the fruity scent but I love how thick and healthy it makes my hair look and feel more! It makes my split ends virtually disappear until my next wash and it doesn’t weigh my hair down despite being a cream!

Wet n Wild Megalast Salon Nail Colour in Through the Grapevine

This is unlike any other colour in my nail polish stash and one I love to put on my toenails! Lasting power is great and it’s such a lovely bright purple perfect for summer!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Lovers Coral

This is probably my favourite lipstick ever and it features in a recent post about my most used makeup! It’s a corally pink colour in a shine formulation so it gives just a light hint of colour to my lips but really brightens up my face and doesn’t cling to dry patches! It does need to be topped up quite regularly throughout the day but doesn’t leave an outline mark round my lips and can easily be applied without a mirror!

Revlon Colourstay Gel Envy Nail Enamel in Pocket Aces

This is such a gorogeus, vibrant colour for summer! I don’t really wear colours like this on my finger nails but I love them on my toenails!

Carmex Lip Balm

This is my favourite overnight lip treatment and one I always come back to, I way prefer it to the likes of Nuxe Reve de Miel and find it works so effectively on my lips to keep them hydrated overnight!

Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

Ah, my favourite lip balm ever and I usually have 2 or 3 open at the same time dotted around the place or in my handbag! I love the minty scent and I find it really sorts out my dry lips and keeps them hydrated for a lot longer than other lip products!

Bourjois So Laque Nail Enamel in Rouge Escarpin

Everyone needs a classic red nail polish in their collection and this is mine! It’s a really bright red shade and I love it!

The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer

This is a product I have been showing a lot more love since I was picking out the items for this post! It’s a gorgeous deep matte brown shade that I use mainly to contour with! It’s so pigmented but looks so natural when it’s blended in and I find the packaging sturdy even though it’s cardboard!

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil

I talked about this product recently too in my five things I’m loving post and it’s one of my favourite skincare products! It really helps with hydration and scarring issues I have with my skin and it’s a product I look forward to applying as I know my skin will look better in the morning for it!

The Green Machines

After my previous pink and blue posts we are now moving onto green! I’m so unimaginative, I hate coming up with the titles for these posts! Anyway, here are my favourite green (or packaged green) products!

Garnier Fructis Strength and Shine Fortifying Shampoo

I have been using this shampoo for years now and when I just want a real good clean it’s still what I reach for! It lathers up well (full of sulphates!) and smells lovely and my hair always feels fresh and clean after using it! I always have one of these to hand! The best thing about it is its £1 in Poundland!

Dr Bronner’s Magic Soap

I’ve had this bottle for about two years and it’s still going strong! This is my favourite thing to wash my brushes with (I used to use shampoo) as it’s so lightweight, lathers up well and gives such a good deep clean! It’s a very watery consistency so some product does go down the plughole when you pour it out if you’re not careful but the bottle it massive and it’s lasted me ages!

Boots Essentials Eye Makeup Remover Gel

While I wouldn’t recommend this as an eye makeup remover if you wear waterproof mascara or heavy eye makeup, it works so well for me as a morning eye cleanse and takes off anything I’ve missed the night before while being cooling and refreshing! It’s so affordable too and really gentle!

Origins Drink Up Intensive

I got this in a set of masks last Christmas I think and it’s lasted me such a long time! I use this at least once a week when my skin is feeling a little dehydrated and it feels so luxurious! It works overnight to replace moisture and I find I always wake up with plumper hydrated skin! I’m nearly finished this tube and definitely will replace it! It also smells amazing!

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

I’ve gone through a few of these in the past then didn’t bother repurchasing as I couldn’t see much of a difference in my skin. I still don’t, but I may have needed to reach a certain amount to get a free gift or something so of course I filled my basket! I usually use this in the morning if I’m not using Serozinc and I just find it to be a really refreshing step in my routine that helps to wake me up. I love the smell (main ingredients include grape, orange blossom, rose, mint and rosemary) so although it’s not a necessity for me it’s still a product I enjoy using!

Pixi Glow Tonic

This has to be my favourite toner ever! It’s an exfoliating toner that dissolves dead skin cells helping to reveal fresh cells underneath. I find it really gentle and use it daily and its one of very few products that I see a noticeable difference in my skin with! It looks a lot more even, clearer and smoother and I couldn’t be without this now! It also featured in a repurchases post here!

Essie Absolutely Shore

Another perfect pastel shade from Essie and one of the the only green shades I have! I actually think this is now discontinued L but it’s described as a “sea foam green with a cream finish”. Again, it’s another nail polish I like to wear when I have a tan as it just makes it look 10x better!

Ribbands

I have become addicted to these bobbles since I first got my hands on them last year! I actually thought these were just Popbands which I also talked about here but they are by a brand called Ribband and I got them in a Selfridges Beauty Box last summer! Just like Popbands they keep my keep my hair secure but don’t pull it too tight and they don’t leave kinks!

DKNY Be Delicious Body Lotion and Skin Hydrating Eau de Toilette

This is probably my favourite fragrance and I love layering up the body lotion and the perfume! I actually prefer the original but it was too difficult to photograph so I gave up! The skin hydrating version is meant to moisturise, smooth and brighten the skin which to be honest I haven’t noticed. I do however notice how light and fresh the scent is and it’s also a bit more affordable than the original Be Delicious so handy for popping in your bag for top ups! I think all three versions of the fragrance have featured in my empties over the last year too!

Don’t be Blue

Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone! After last week’s pink post I may have gotten a little carried away and planned a few more themed posts focusing on some different colours! First up are my favourite blue products!

Nivea Lotion

I’ve spoken about this loads on my blog before and it regularly features in empties too but this is my favourite product for a first cleanse and I have been using it for years! It’s so creamy and effective at removing a good chunk of my makeup before I go in with an oil or balm. As it’s so creamy I don’t feel like I am dragging my skin at all with this and it’s so affordable!

Nivea Protect and Care 48 hour Anti-Perspirant*

Deodorant is something I like to have a few different options for and will switch daily as I find my armpits get quite used to products I use long term! Nivea recently released a new deodorant featuring the scent of Nivea crème which you all know I am obsessed with! It promises to be strong on sweat but gentle on skin while providing 48 hour protection. I’ve been using this for about three weeks now and while I haven’t tested the 48 hour claim, it lasts well throughout the day on me and as expected I love the scent, it’s so fresh and clean! It also comes in stick and spray form too and is available from Superdrug, Morrisons, Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s!

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum

I talked about this in an empties way back here when I was on my second bottle but didn’t repurchase till recently as I was finishing other serums (practising self-control for once!). I’m so glad to have this back in my routine, there is something about it I love. It’s quite a watery formulation but dries in quickly making my skin feel lovely and soft and hydrated throughout the day! I feel like it’s become a little more scented since I last used it but I could be wrong, it doesn’t affect my skin anyway and I still love it!

La Roche Posay Serozinc

This is my second bottle of this stuff now and another product I’m glad to have back in my skincare routine! I use it after I tone at both night time and in the morning and press in with a cotton pad. I find on me it’s refreshing and helps calm any spots I have! It’s also meant to help with excess oiliness which I didn’t realise until now so I will be looking out for that too!

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentre

I don’t think I’ve ever spoke about this on my blog before but there is something about it I really like. I was enabled by Pixiwoo absolutely ages ago who used it as a primer and I find it really effective! It’s my moisturiser/primer of choice when I take hand luggage as it doubles up as both and saves me a lot of room while nicely moisturising and priming my skin and giving me a good base for my makeup.

Estee Lauder Double Wear

This is without a doubt my favourite foundation and after going on a bit of a mission in the last month or so to find the perfect foundation without SPF, I can confirm that it can’t be done. For my skin anyway! I don’t wear this daily, it’s too expensive for that, but this is the only foundation I trust on a night out/if I have to get a photo taken (yes even with flash because at least I’ll look like a ghost with good skin!). I have combination skin and this mattifies it without clinging to any dry patches I have as well as seemingly looking better the longer I wear it. Not sure what magic it is but it’s one I will continue to repurchase again and again!

Cutex Ultra Cleansing Nail Polish Remover

I have gone through so many bottles of this nail polish remover as it’s so effective! I don’t know if it’s clever marketing calling it “ultra cleansing” but it really does get my nail polish off so quickly and easily!

Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Waterproof Mascara

I picked this up a few weeks ago when it was on offer as curiosity got the better of me (I usually hate Revlon mascaras) but this has been a pleasant surprise! It’s quite a dry formula with a bristled brush and like the packaging says, gives me great volume and length, exactly what I look for in a mascara! I always get the waterproof version and it’s worked perfectly and I haven’t noticed any flaking either! I’m definitely not upset the old Revlon mascaras have been discontinued and want to try out more of the new range soon!

Essie Midnight Cami

This is probably one of my favourite nail shades ever! It’s definitely not the most Spring/Summer appropriate but who cares about that when you see how pretty it is! It’s a deep navy blue with the most gorgeous understated shimmer. I have a whole post on it here with it on my nails too!

Essie Find Me an Oasis

A little more light for this time of year, Find Me an Oasis is the prettiest pastel blue I own! Essie really do the best pastel shades in my opinion! I love these mini polishes too that you can get in sets as I very rarely finish a full size nail polish!
