Celimax The Real Noni Acne Bubble Cleanser*

Starting with cleansers and this is such a refreshing foaming cleanser! It slots in easily as a morning or second cleanser and while I am not experiencing acne right now, it’s my go to when I can feel a spot coming on! It contains glycerin, Noni extract (rich in antioxidants), salicylic acid, willow bark extract and centella asiatica so gently removes dead skin cells and soothes skin and it has a fresh, herbal mint scent. Despite being a foaming cleanser, this doesn’t strip my skin at all and it feels soft and balanced after use! Features in my Current Cleansers post here!

Celimax JI WOO GAE Heartleaf BHA PeelingPad*

I am loving having these to hand at the minute! They are pre-soaked toning pads with different textures on each side and formulated with BHA to slough away dead skin cells and reveal brighter and smoother skin. The formula also contains hyaluronic acid and heartleaf extract to soothe and hydrate skin. I gently wipe the embossed side over my face to remove impurities and moisturize skin, wait 30 seconds then wipe the gauze side to exfoliate and target blackheads and dead skin cells. I like to use then when my skin is feeling dull or like I have a breakout coming on, they feel gentle and the tub has 60 pads in total!

Celimax Noni Ampoule Calming + Radiance*

This is such a nice calming and hydrating serum – everyone should have this or something like it in their routine! It contains noni fruit extract which is full of antioxidants, glycerin to hydrate, allantoin to soothe and adenosine to help reduce the appearance of fine lines. My skin always looks and feels calm and hydrate when I use this and it’s my go to lately anytime I’m on a trip as it’s so good day or night!

Celimax The Vita-A Retinal Shot Tightening Booster*

Small but mighty as this is only 15 mls but you don’t need a lot either! This is a 0.1% retinal formula with niacinamide, panthenol and Matrixyl 3000 to further brighten, soothe and target fine lines! The “shot” refers to Celimax’s own microparticle ingredient A-Shot™ which stimulates skin and enhances absorption of the actives! My skin looks noticeably firmer, more plump and smoother with consistent use, and I haven’t experienced any sensitivity or peeling with it either even though it’s one of the stronger formulations I have tried! Wish it came in a 30ml but its super affordable for a retinal product at $17.52 CAD on Yesstyle!

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence*

This is such a classic “glass skin” product which is what K Beauty is known for! It’s a milky essence that I like to use after toning and before serums to add an extra layer of hydration. It’s 5 Ceramide Complex and 5 Fatty Acids Complex boosts skin barrier strength and the lightweight formula also includes galactomyces ferment filtrate to boost skin elasticity, as well as antioxidant-rich black rice extract to soothe and strengthen skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy and I love having this in the winter when my skin needs a little extra hydration!

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Sunscreen*

This became one of my favourite SPF’s this summer and I love the pump packaging it comes in! It’s a lightweight, non-greasy formula that doesn’t leave a white cast and I think it would work for all skin types! I use 2 finger lengths worth, and it sits so well under my makeup, there is no pilling and my skin feels well protected! It contains 100% Korean black rice, rich in antioxidants, vitamin E for free-radical protection and skin moisturising Ceramide NP & Heartleaf Extract. Featured in my Summer Essentials 2025 here!

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream*

Lastly, an eye cream I have been loving! This contains Bakuchiol and fermented Black Rice extract to gently smooth fine lines around the eyes. It’s nicely hydrating and has reduced the look of fine lines round my eyes. I haven’t noticed a huge difference with dark circles but not much works on that for me! This feels so gentle around the thinner skin on the eyes too and works well under makeup keeping my eye are looking smooth!

Current Skincare | Cleansers #10

Wow, I can’t believe this is the tenth instalment in this series! It’s always nice to look back at what I had in my stash and what I thought of each product. The first cleanser I want to talk about today is no stranger to my blog or this series either!

current cleaners review

The Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm RRP £52 is probably one of my favourite cleansers and one of my most repurchased skincare items! It is just a 5-star experience from start to finish in my opinion! It has the most uplifting, citrus scent that is not overpowering and doesn’t make my eyes water and the balm itself is so luxurious, it melts easily on touch, a little goes a long way and it spreads like a dream. It feels hydrating and balancing and removes heavy makeup with ease. The pot comes with a little spatula, so is hygienic, as well as a lovely thick, soft cleansing cloth! It’s pricey at £52 but I have never paid full price and always order this when it’s on offer at Look Fantastic though it is well worth the money!

emma hardie moringa cleansing balm review

Next up, is the semi-recently reformulated Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm RRP $52 CAD | £38*. Now, I had only ever used a mini of the original formulation of this cleanser and I remember enjoying it but I can’t compare the two however I love this formula! As well as this version, it also comes in a fragrance-free form for those with super sensitive skin! I love the scent of the classic one – lime, bergamot and orange – it’s so fresh! The balm has a stiffer formula than the Emma Hardie but melts easily one you start massaging into the skin and transforms into a milky lather when you add water. It’s rich in antioxidants and contains sunflower oil and papaya extract to nourish skin and target impurities leaving my skin soft and hydrated. It removes my makeup without leaving any residue behind and I can’t fault it!

Lastly for my PM or first cleanse is the Pixi EOD Cleansing Oil RRP $23 CAD | £14*. This is the most affordable cleanser in my current collection and works just as well as the previous two! It feels a little less luxurious to me as it’s fragrance free but this will suit sensitive skins no doubt! It’s plant based and contains argan oil and soy bean oil and I have no issues with this removing makeup and SPF effectively. My skin is left feeling soft and hydrated and the only negative I would say is that sometimes I find the packaging can be a little messy around the cap so I tend not to take it travelling with me and I would prefer a pump! I think Pixi is such an underrated skincare and makeup brand, I love the majority of the products I have tried!

Sticking with the green theme and the Celimax Noni Acne Cleanser RRP $24.89 CAD* is the newest cleanser to my stash. While not currently experiencing acne (touch wood), after using for a couple of months now, it’s found a firm place in my routine as a morning or second cleanse on days when I have a few breakouts. It contains glycerin, salicylic acid, willow bark extract and centella asiatica so gently removes dead skin cells and soothes skin. It has a fresh, herbal mint scent and despite being a foaming cleanser, doesn’t strip my skin at all, it leaves it feeling soft and balanced! Use my code DANIELLESBB5 for up to 5% off at YESSTYLE!

farmacy green clean cleanser review

Rounding off the morning and second cleansers are a duo from Farmacy. The Farmacy Green Clean Whipped Foaming Cleanser RRP $44 CAD | £31* is a pH balanced, oil free, foaming extra deep cleanse that draws out oil, dirt, and impurities caused by pollution. It contains moringa, green clay and papaya enzymes so nourishes while absorbing oil and doesn’t strip my skin barrier. I have been loving this throughout the summer when my combo skin leans oily! It smells so fresh and transforms into a light lather with water, doesn’t dry out my skin and makes it feel so clean!

Lastly, the Farmacy Green Clean Gentle Creamy Cleanser RRP $44 CAD | £31* and this one is great for drier and more sensitive skins! It’s fragrance free, also contains moringa as well as oats and Vitamin F to sooth and nourish the skin. This feels a touch creamier than the foaming cleanser and I reach for it especially when my skin is feeling in any way sensitised!

None of these cleansers irritate my eyes but I do always use the Nivea Double Effect Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover RRP £10.99 CAD | £3.89 to take of my eye makeup before cleansing with one of these!

Have you tried any of these cleansers before? What cleansers are you currently using? Like I said, I now have ten instalments of this series on my blog so I won’t go through all of them but here are the most recent three if you want more cleanser reviews!
